What They're Saying:
Compared to some of the other online sources, Scratch Paper is so much more streamlined. It lives up to "By Students, for students" because it doesn't feel like a typical class that is cumbersome and bogged down. It's learning and comprehension streamlined.
My child felt limited by a lack of resources at school. Scratch Paper provided so much more and has really made my child feel more confident and prepared for future courses.
I never really leave reviews, but Scratch Paper deserves it. First, the price - duh. When every other resource charges a crazy premium, it's nice to see that Scratch Paper doesn't. Second, it's so easy to actually get information, like the people who designed it actually know what they're talking about.
Grades immediately improved 💞 Thank you!!
Exactly what I needed. I can't always make it to office hours at my college and I feel like most other students can't either. Scratch Paper is like office hours 24/7. You might not have the teacher right there with you, but they've done such a good job laying all the course info out that it feels like they've answered every question. And if the exact question isn't answered, you can post it and they'll respond.
I seriously can't recommend Scratch Paper enough. I had the chance to talk to Julie (the CEO) directly while working on a project and aside from how knowledgeable she is, you can tell she and the rest of the team truly cares about providing high-quality, low-cost information to students of all ages.
I was at one of the schools that got Scratch Paper in its earliest phase, so I've been using it for so long. APUSH, ECon, Calc, everything has an answer here.
My son was struggling to keep up in math. Between football, basketball, baseball, and a social life there was no time for a private tutor. Even if there were, costs in my area were insane and only a few places had openings! His GPA is up, but most importantly he doesn't seem stressed by the subject matter anymore.
Wish I had this in high school, maybe I would have gone to a better college.
I'm studying education and one thing that really sticks out to me about Scratch Paper is that if focuses first on understanding, and second on content. You'd have to try to not understand a concept here - that's how easy they make it.
